Katie Crutchfield, aka Waxahatchee, will make her major-label debut this April with the release of her third album to date, Ivy Tripp. The album was produced and recorded alongside Swearin’ members Kyle Gilbride and Keith Spencer, and will be released through her new home Merge Records on April 7.
Australian indie rockers Twerps have unveiled the stop-motion, Angus Lord-directed visuals to accompany their deceptively chirpy new single, Stranger. The track is lifted off the groups newly released album Range Anxiety, their debut full-length for Merge Records. Range Anxiety is out now on Merge Records.
Mikal Cronin will release album number three MCIII on May 5 through Merge Records. As he did on his self-titled 2011 debut and 2013’s MCII, Cronin arranged and played nearly all of the record himself. Check out his new single Made My Mind Up above.
