Toronto outfit DIANA return with What You Get, the latest from their eagerly-awaited forthcoming sophomore full length, Familiar Touch.
The third single from the album, which is the follow up to the band’s well-regarded 2013 debut Perpetual Surrender, What You Get is a slow-burning torch song that builds gradually from a spare drum machine and synthesizer pulse before expanding texturally and instrumentally.
Their new track What You Get arrives on the heels of the band’s recent singles Slipping Away and Confession, and both tracks will appear on the new album which will be released independently on November 18.
According to DIANA’s Kieran Adams What You Get, was the first song written for the album, and the process of its arrangement and production provided a loose blueprint for the rest of the LP.
Familiar Touch will be released independently on November 18. Pre-order here.
